A Fuzzy Governance Model For E-Governance

Fuzzy mathematics offers a robust approach for handling uncertainty and vagueness in real-world problems, where conventional binary logic or exact mathematical methods are insufficient. Applications of fuzzy mathematics are found in many areas like- control systems, pattern recognition, decision making, expert systems, robotics, financial analysis, medical diagnosis, etc. Again, e-governance seeks to utilize technology to reshape government operations and engagements with citizens, fostering increased efficiency, transparency, and responsiveness within governance procedures. In recent times, the Fuzzy Governance Model applicable for corporate governance has also been proposed. This paper aims to check whether the Fuzzy Governance Model proposed by Enriqueta Mancilla-Rendon et al. (2021) could be applied in the case of an e-governance scenario with minimal necessary changes. For this, we have proceeded in the light of the conceptual model of Bhuvana et al. (2022), named “Actual Usage Model for E-governance Health Care Applications”, where public trust, service quality and information quality are considered as independent variables and actual usage of e-governance health care applications is considered as the dependent variable. We have concluded that the said model proposed by Enriqueta Mancilla-Rendon et al. could be applied to e-governance too. Here, it has also been noted that the managements of e-governance services should try to provide the services keeping the values of all the said attributes (independent variables) around the satisfactory levels as per the suggestions of the experts.
