Abstract

The IoT-based Smart Home Automation system enables real-time monitoring, control, and automation of home appliances using the internet. With the rapid growth of IoT devices and cloud computing, it is possible to create efficient, scalable, and low-cost solutions for smart home environments. This paper discusses the design and implementation of a Smart Home Automation system that integrates IoT devices with cloud technologies to offer enhanced functionality, scalability, and reliability. Various sensors, controllers, and cloud platforms are explored to monitor, automate, and optimize home environments, ensuring energy efficiency, safety, and convenience. Experimental results demonstrate a 36.2% reduction in energy consumption and an average system response time of under 1 second, validating the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
