Abstract

In fuzzy choice theory, the study of various axioms and their interrelationships play a crucial role in the rationalization of fuzzy choice functions. In this paper we introduce union and intersection-based path independence axioms U1, U2, and U3 as well as I1, I2, and I3. and examines the connections among them. It also investigates the relationships with other important properties, such as the fuzzy congruence axiom, the fuzzy superset property and the fuzzy outcasting property.
