Nowadays the augmented reality (AR) and associated technologies are utilised in the enhancement of accessibility for visually impaired peoples (VIPs), are creating respectable approach. The indoor and outdoor navigation with complex environments remains as key challenges for visually impaired people, mostly in spaces where the functioning of GPS gets deviated for a moment. In order to constant developments in AR domain, computer vision along with the association of artificial intelligence have allowed the advanced assistive navigation assemblies and tools. The current study provides and inside about the ARIANNA and ARIANNA+, NavCog, NavCog3 and Soundscape systems / tools for visually impaired peoples. Basically, this is an attempt as a comparative study of augmented reality with associated technology tools enhancing accessibility for visually impaired people. The early and ingenious ARIANNA structure provides physical floor-enable paths with integration of computer vision practices, while the enhanced ARIANNA+ structure publicizes AR-enable virtual navigation, SLAM-supported localization with deep learning insight. The NavCog is based on the smartphone for navigation assistant. This system gives extremely correct turn-by-turn audio direction and neighbouring situation. Its advance section NavCog3 gives additional features. The next tool Soundscape utilised 3D spatial audio and audio beacons to produce a comfortable understanding of the situation. An all-inclusive study of system architecture, methodology, experimental assessment, consequences, and future prototypes is discussed. The statistical comparisons analysis and significance is also carried out to assess all the tools. Investigational inferences portray that ARIANNA+ provocatively improves the navigation correctness, efficacy, and satisfaction which spreads it as capable scalable, infrastructure-free accessibility tenacity.
