THE EFFECTS OF STRATEGIC TRAINING AND PERFORMANCE OF STATE CORPORATIONS IN KENYA

This article aims to reveal how effect of strategic training affects the performance of State Corporations in Kenya. This study prepares managers and employees with the skills and knowledge to complete tasks with much productivity. Additionally, strategic training provides employees with the necessary tools and information required to complete their tasks successfully. Questionnaires were used to collect primary data both open and closed-ended questions. 145 management officers voluntarily participated in the study. The study adopted cross sectional research design. Hypotheses were tested using inferential analysis and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). ANOVA indicated that the relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable was significant. This reveals that the Strategic training significantly affects the performance of state corporations. This study recommended that other studies be replicated in other sectors and countries to establish whether the results will be similar.
