Abstract

This paper offers a complete summary of MOYSES, a modelling and computer graphics application for helping civil engineering designers evaluate their designs for environmental and landscape plan approval. MOYSES is an application capable of geometrically defining scenes where maximum visual impact is important. This article refers to the scientific basis of the process, explains the algorithmic foundations and describes the process steps of the generated tool. Lastly, an explanation of the tool’s functions post-processing is given, an operation that is related to the virtual representation techniques of land and civil works.
