Abstract

An OFDM system was needed for WAVE. Reliable Channel Estimation is important for proper system performance in VANET especially with time varying characteristics of the channel in V2V communication. A new method has been suggested in which the pilots are optimally inserted into the OFDM band. It is known as FCPCE. The simulator results and real core measurements validate that the proposed method is efficient as compared to other similar methods in terms of QOS.
