Abstract

The growing use of artificial intelligence in higher education is reshaping entrepreneurship education, a field which was traditionally built on experience-based learning and mentorship. This study investigates how AI technologies such as personalised learning systems, generative AI, natural language processing (NLP), AI-powered incubators, and hybrid teaching models, are able to influence the development of skill for entrepreneurs, help adapt academic curriculums to the ever-changing growth of technologies, and help support practices within their facilities. A qualitative methodology was adopted using a structured review of literature from references such as Scopus, Web of Science (WoS), the Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC) Journal Quality List, and the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. The findings of the research were supported by evidence from educational institutions from references such as McKinsey & Company, Deloitte, Harvard Business Review, Statista, and Gallup. The study draws on constructivist learning theory, self-determination theory, and innovation ecosystem frameworks.  Furthermore, the analysis is guided by three main research questions, how AI based personalised learning affects entrepreneurial competencies, how generative AI and NLP tools support innovation and Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) related outcomes, and how AI supported teaching models are changing entrepreneurship education in universities. A brief analysis of themes and case study evidence were used to examine these areas.  Therefore, these findings suggest that AI strengthens both technical and interpersonal entrepreneurial skills which supports sustainable innovation and enhances entrepreneurial activities within universities. Based on these findings, the research proposes the AI Integrated Entrepreneurship Learning (AIEL) framework which provides practical guidance for educators, policymakers, and curriculum designers who plan to integrate AI for their academic curricula and help support future entrepreneurial development.
